early 2000. As a small business (7 work stations), it
is prohibitively expensive to have a full time IT professional,
but our IT needs required knowledgeable, skilled assistance.
Shane consulted with us on how to organize the structure
and equipment for our LAN needs, and then effected the
plan we agreed on. He set up a server and rewired our
office to take advantage of the higher speed equipment,
put in place anti-virus and firewall security, as well
as set up our nightly, off-site backup. While the technical
implementation of all of that went smoothly, having him
available on an as needed basis is vital."
